Mílica Reinhart (Djakovo, 1958)
Una de las cosas gratas de las redes sociales es que se descubren artistas plásticos que están trabajando en distintas partes del mundo. En esta oportunidad nos encontramos con Milica Reinhart, una artista nacida en Croacia y que reside en Alemania. Cutiva tanto el arte figurativo como el abstracto. Aunque no la conocemos personalmente por la entrevista que nos ha concedido descubrimos que es una persona consagrada al arte. Sus respuestas son directas y breves, cual balas. No tiene tiempo que perder.

One of the satisfactory things of the social networks is that we find plastic artists that are working all over the world. In this opportunity we have run into Milica Reinhart, an artist born in Croatia who lives in Germany. She works both in figurative and abstract art. Though we don´t know her in person by the interview se has kindly granted us we can tell she is fully dedicated to the creation of art. Her answers are direct and brief, like bullets. She has no time to waste.
When did you decide to dedicate your life to art?
Since 1980.
Tell us about your formation as an artist. In which art schools did you study and who were your main teachers?
I am autodidact.
In the history of art, who are your favorite artists?
Frida Kahlo.
Would you have liked to paint in another place and era?
I always paint at the place where I am.
Kindly describe a typical working day in your workshop.
I wake up at 7 o´clock each morning. Look at my walls and start painting.
How many days of the week do you dedicate to painting?
Every day.
In your art work, what has more importance: inspiration or perspiration?
Perspiration.
Why do you prefer wall paint over oil or acrylic paint?
I don`t prefer wall paint, I like painting with everything, everywhere.
Why do you prefer abstract painting over figurative painting?
I also work figurative. I don`t show it in Facebook. Only in the painting school.
Aside from painting, what other art techniques do you practice and with what regularity?
Aside from painting I do some workshops with different people using different stuffs and techniques.
If you had the chance to steal from any museum in the world a painting of your choice for your own collection, which one would you choose?
Mona Lisa.
In Germany, what does an artist have to do to sell his/her work?
We have to work a lot and do lots of exhibitions.

Desde 1980.

Me despierto a las 7 de la mañana. Miro a mis paredes y empiezo a pintar.
¿Cuántos días de la semana dedicas a la pintura?
Todos los días.
En tu trabajo artístico, ¿qué es más importante, inspiración o traspiración?
Traspiración.
¿Por qué prefieres pintura de pared en vez de óleo o pintura acrílica?
No prefiero pintura de pared. Me gusta pintar con todo, en todo.
¿Por qué prefiere pintar abstracto en vez de figurativo?
También trabajo en figurativo. No lo muestro en Facebook. Sólo en la escuela de pintura.
Además de la pintura, ¿qué otras técnicas plásticas practicas y con qué regularidad?
Además de pintar hago talleres con distintas personas, utilizando distintas cosas y técnicas.
Si tuvieras la oportunidad de robar de cualquier museo del mundo una obra para tu propia colección, ¿cuál escogerías?

Una última pregunta. En Alemania, ¿qué tiene que hacer el artista para vender sus obras?
Tenemos que trabajar mucho y participar en muchas exhibiciones.
